Ground Mobility

Ground mobility is currently the second largest CO production source in the world accounting for 37% of CO emissions in 2021. To reduce carbon emissions from this sector, notably in heavy duty mobility, alternative solutions are necessary due to the limitations of batteries, which is not always suitable, especially for high-power or long-range requirements.  INOCEL’s fuel cell technology offers a viable alternative to thermal engines and battery powered vehicles in the field of ground mobility, thanks to its high power output, reactivity and compact design. Thanks to the INOCEL Z300, we are moving towards battery-free mobility heavy-duty mobility.

INOCEL’s product is developed for high power demands, compactness and robustness. Our hydrogen fuel cell system is engineered to cater to the heavy ground mobility markets, accommodating requirements up to 300 kW, which is an adapted power for the majority of the heavy-duty mobility sector. Vehicles powered by hydrogen and electric motors have the potential to offer a smooth and enjoyable commute, with no noise or vibrations.

Our technology has a wide range of applications that are categorised as on-road and off-road vehicles.

On-Road ground mobility

On-road vehicles are designed to be used on paved roads, allowing for comfortable and efficient travel over long distances and maintaining constant speed. Mainly used for transportation purposes, they are subject to a wide range of safety, performance, and environmental regulations.

These vehicles are essential for the movement of goods and people across different locations, and they play a critical role in supporting various industries such as logistics, transportation, and construction. Some examples of on-road vehicles include:

  • Commercial trucks
  • Buses
  • Medium and heavy-duty delivery vehicles
hydrogen trucks
hydrogen buses
construction machinery
hydrogen tractor
mining machinery

Off-Road ground mobility

Off-road mobility use cases involve vehicles that are designed to operate in rough terrain or natural environments. These vehicles are specifically designed with advanced features and technologies to be robust, as they are commonly used as working tools with frequent starts and stops and a high power demand. Some examples of these vehicles include:

  • Construction machinery
  • Mining equipment
  • Agricultural machinery
  • Forest exploitation machinery
