Hydrogen Business For Climate

Hydrogen Business for climate

The Hydrogen Business For Climate Forum is a major transnational event aimed at accelerating the energy transition in France and Europe by highlighting the use of hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source. This year, INOCEL participated in it, but this time as a Gold Sponsor.

During the Hydrogen Business For Climate Forum, INOCEL presented its advanced fuel cell system, which will be produced on French soil, specifically in their production facility in Belfort. This technological advancement promised to make a significant contribution to the energy transition by providing a clean and efficient energy source.

For event participants, a unique opportunity awaited them: to attend the Eco/business workshop titled “How to quickly scale up to industrial size?”. This workshop was hosted by Jules Billiet, the CEO of INOCEL, and took place on October 3rd from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. During this session, participants had the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise when a company transitions from the startup phase to large-scale production. Jules Billiet’s insights provided valuable guidance on the strategies and steps necessary for a successful transition to large-scale production.

This workshop was not only informative but also provided a platform for networking and interaction with the INOCEL team. Participants had the opportunity to ask all their questions and obtain information directly from those at the forefront of innovation in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells.

INOCEL’s participation as a Gold Sponsor reflects its commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future, while also offering participants an invaluable opportunity to become familiar with the latest technological advancements and discuss current and future challenges in the industry.

INOCEL selected for the first edition of the French Tech 2030

French Tech 2030

INOCEL has been selected as part of the inaugural cohort of the French Tech 2030 program. This ambitious program is led by the Secrétariat Général à l’Investissement, in collaboration with Mission French Tech and Bpifrance. Over the course of a year, INOCEL will be supported by Mission French Tech in developing innovative solutions to societal and sovereignty challenges.

The cohort brings together 125 emerging players aligned with the strategic verticals of France 2030. These verticals are ecological transition, healthcare, digital, agrifood, new technological frontiers, and education. Among the winners, 38% are involved in the ecological transition, highlighting INOCEL’s crucial role in building a sustainable future.

The participating companies were selected from 844 applications following a rigorous process led by representatives of the Directorate General for Enterprise, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation, the Defense Innovation Agency, the Health Innovation Agency, and the General Commissariat for Sustainable Development. The selection criteria were based on the companies’ contribution to the specific objectives of France 2030 and to the consolidation of France’s industrial and technological sovereignty.

INOCEL is proud to be one of this year’s winners, which proves the company’s economic and technological maturity. This recognition strengthens our position as a technological leader and will enable us to seize new economic, social, and employment opportunities.

As a winner of French Tech 2030, INOCEL will receive full support from Mission French Tech. The company will be accompanied by a start-up manager and will be in contact with the 60 “French Tech Correspondents.” INOCEL will also benefit from support on regulatory, normative, commercial, and industrial aspects, as well as increased visibility in France and internationally.

Bpifrance’s reinforced support will give INOCEL access to public funding under France 2030, as well as opportunities to meet public and private buyers.

Journées Hydrogène dans les Territoires

INOCEL, as a proud member of the France Hydrogène association, had the privilege of participating in the remarkable 10th edition of the Hydrogen Days in the Territories held in Pau from June 13 to 15, 2023. As an esteemed player in the field of energy transition, we were delighted to invite attendees to our booth, where they could engage in insightful discussions with our knowledgeable representatives regarding the invaluable role of fuel cells in various applications demanding robust power and exceptional performance, both in stationary energy production and heavy-duty mobility.

During this event, INOCEL took the opportunity to showcase our cutting-edge advancements in fuel cell technology, which have the potential to revolutionize the way we harness energy for a sustainable future.

Our representatives eagerly engaged with visitors, offering deep insights into the diverse applications of fuel cells, such as in stationary power generation, where they can efficiently meet the demands of large-scale energy production, providing clean and reliable electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Furthermore, our experts shed light on the immense potential of fuel cells in heavy mobility, showcasing we can significantly reduce carbon emissions while enhancing the performance and range of various vehicles, including buses, trucks, and trains.

The event proved to be a resounding success for INOCEL, as we not only strengthened existing partnerships within the France Hydrogène association but also forged new alliances with like-minded organizations and individuals committed to advancing the hydrogen economy. The Hydrogen Days in the Territories served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, propelling the collective efforts toward a greener and more prosperous tomorrow.
